Request A Helper With English

Hey there.

I'm searching for a person, who could help me with english. If you are trustworthy, persistent, helpful, you have imagination, and most of all, you have excellent english skills, you are the guy I'm looking for.

I have been making "The Chosen Ones - Campaign" over a year now. Many people have told me that the english is one of the weakest points in the campaign. I would like this to be fixed before I release first beta version. I have been planing to release beta in Christmas.

The campaign includes hundreds of different kind of cinematics and over 500 items, over 100 spells so there are a lot of text to be translated. I already have two translators, but they are nowadays so busy and there is still a lot of text to be translated.

So, if you are interested, I would you to write in this topic, PM to me or send email to Aeroblyctos@hotmail.com. And of course you'll be credited as much as you done for the campaign.

I am german myself but I had english lessons for 7 years...

Translated or spelling/grammar corrected? I wouldn't be able to do any translating, but if there's any grammar/spelling to be corrected I could do that without a problem.

I think your text, DarkAngelAzazel, is a little doubtful. Also, 7 years is perhaps still too less because I have been studying english over 9 years.

I'm looking for a guy who really is excellent with english and this is not just translating stuff, but also giving good suggestions and even trying to force me to change the plot somehow. Of course, to a better way.

And this is not just a "one day job". Actually, this job could take months.

Actually I am quiet happy about getting this denial... after thinking about your post I noticed that I don't want to sit there for months only translating your map^^

WHAT THE FUCK, 9 years ?? dude, i'm not bad at talking english, and i've just learned from talking and talking, no one teached me, except the people who i were talking to :/

anyway, my grammar is not very good at all, but i could help u with items, if u want, send me a screenshot with their names and im gonna tell u the right names.

Well, I'm not the best learner here I see. I'm very lazy with the school. Also, because english is not my native language it makes things harder. So, I think I should put this to the first post, I'm searching for a native english guy. They know a lot more about their own language and slang, etc.

Umm, about your cinematics... Could you put a ESC button to escape it? They are extremely long and boring after awhile. Could use some voice acting

About escape thing, I perhaps can do something about it in beta stage. About voice acting, never. It's just fail, never seen a good voice acting in Wc3 history(expect Blizzard's campaign).

Offtopic: Blaarghh, voice acting FTW, if i would just have a mic D: (the one u say it sucks its voice chating :P, like pyrities adventure, thats not acting, its just talk :P)
