Item Equipment System?

Explanation of Equipment System:

1. A Peasant picks up an armor
2. the peasant changes into a footman.
3. the footman drops the armor item.
4. the footman changes back into a peasant

1. a peasant picks up a hammer item
2. the peasant changes into a Paladin hero
3. the paladin drops the hammer item
4. the paladin changes back into a peasant

The only thing that should change is the model. The item, skills, stats and everything stays the same.

Anyone have an idea to do this?

first u must make all units u want it to change into and from make sure they have the same hp and mana ect
then create a trigger that just replaces the unit and it will have all the items, stats, skills, remaining life and mana of the the replaced unit.

It crashed my game for some reason. Any idea on why it did that?
