=READ=A Note on Stealing and Theft=READ=

It has come to my attention since the activity in this section and both at hive, I've come to announce that Stealing will not be tolerated.

Issue Concerning Signatures and Avatars
NOTE: The issue concerning of Signature and Avatar graphics (avatars must be heavily modified/edited) do not relate to these rules. BUT these must follow with signatures:

• You must at least give the source link or credit/mention the original stock image owner.
• The signature must be heavily modified by you, no other person.

Those that fail to follow the first rule of sig/avatars will be warned, but no punishment given, failing to follow warning will result in punishment.

What is considered THEFT?
Here is a list of what the Hive and I consider as theft:

• Using images found from the internet to be used as stock images within artwork. You must have permission or mention the author and/or where you found the stock images.
• Googled images, both humorous or artistic will not be allowed, the content must be made by you.
• The Claiming over images that were not truly and whole fully created by you. The artwork must be at least 80% original, other content must be mentioned and credited.
• Image crop outs, screenshots from games, Concept artwork or renders is not art, we do not tolerate those here and its considered theft and NOT ART, do not post that silly content please.
• Cnping,merging and editing of other peoples artwork is theft, we do not tolerate it here.
• Recoloring of peoples work is not allowed, you must obtain permission first and recoloring is not being artistic at all in my views, the coloring of other peoples work is welcomed, but you must state were you found the original image and the author.

If You are Suspected of THEFT
If you are suspected of theft, to prove your innocence you must:

• Post a Larger scale image, at least 1000pixels+, i will compare images, if resizing is detected, you will be punished
  OR
• Post at least 1 or 2 Wip( )
  OR
• Post a layered version to me, pm or in thread.
  OR
• Describe the steps and what tools and programs you used.
  AND
• Explain the background of your image, when you made it and why

The sites staff and its art mods have the right to proclaim judgment over theft, any bad behavior from our decision will result in a warning or a ban.

If you are caught of THEFT
If you are caught with theft:

• You will heavily punished, infraction AND neg rep.
• If you do not comply to the punishment and act brashly towards whats given to you by the art moderator or the sites authorities, then you will be BANNED
• You will be added to the Art Sections list of thieves, this is nothing to be proud of.

What do you do if you suspect someone of THEFT?
Those that suspect people of theft please follow these:

• Report the post/content using the report button on the left.
• PM the Art Moderator, DO NOT contact the person you suspect and take it in your own hands.
• DO NOT post in the same thread in which you find its content to be theft unless you have evidence and proof to backup your claims.
