Open Canvas, Network Drawing
Want to draw with people? Then SURE!
Open Canvas allows network drawing in realtime, meaning you can draw with your friends over the globe. Capable of drawing with more than just 2 people, you can enjoy working on each others pieces and teaching the world of art and it being on your friend's screen.
Just simply download this old version of OC, the versions after this OC have had their network abilities taken off.

For support on Networking go here:

Iv only gotten it to work with Sansui's IP, but Iv had a go with Sansui and Kdub invited in it aswell, so post here if you are looking for a draw together, sometimes I'm free has im bored alot. So remember just post and maybe someone can post their heads up.
You can even save them as event files, so they are just like video recordings, they can only be opened in OC though:

Some examples of work that was done on networking:

Nice program. Looks like it works by sending the drawing data when you draw, making it possible for people with dial-up to use it.

This program has bad bugs.
If you disable all layers and turn them back on fast, it can mal align them so art that looked fine (2 people painted) suddenly appears wrong as they layers are not correctly orientated (they are offset).
Also crashes happen quite a bit, when I tried to act as a server it crashed 3 times.
Also lacks basic tools like fill bucket and others and the ability to merge layers with other people who are painting activly (comunal layer).

Well I installed it and seems to work ok for me. Little confusing but I think I get it. My times where I will likely be on is 6:00 P.M. to 2:00 A.M.

now if only GIMP had this feature xD I personally only like open canvas for black and white pencil-drawing type things, but this is still a cool feature.
~Off topic~
How do I make transparency without using my tablet? >.<

OC doesnt support alpha if thats what you mean, its a painting program, not a graphics design program thus you have to cnp your work over a texture or to another program which is what i do.

Phooey on you. I don't see your networked drawing program.
I'm ready whenever someone else is. Jolly good fun I say.

Isn't there an alpha slider on each layer?
