okay... now seriously TDR: am i doing it wrong?
look at this, a new art thingy and i want to know if i failed at shading xP

umm...yes, you failed. You're now at the stage where you shade EVERYTHING with a gradient from left to right or vice versa, sorta like a cylinder, and therefore it looks like it has no volume.
Let me illustrate what I mean. I hope this'll help you :/

oh... that's it. I shade my emotes that way, but never thought about doing that with actual stuff. Thanks, this helped. :)
EDIT: i have done a rewamp of some of the hive chat emotes. more coming soon. (i know the transparency issue, i fixed it but cbf to reupload xP)
