Removing Hero Glow

how can i remove hero glow on a sertain part of a unit?
like if i wanted to remove the weapon on a unit and the golw is still there.

also how can i add/remove team color on units. (im using PhotoShop CS)

You need model edit to do this, not via skin editing.

To add, you can't add team color via skin editing, maybe you should do model edit.

To remove team color you need alpha editing. Go to channel tab, you can see Red, Green, Blue, and Alpha channel. Go to alpha channel, you can see some red transparent on your skin where there must be the team color. Remove the red transparent by using eraser tool.

i've tried to alpha out team color but it still stays there...

and i cant star modleing because i have a mac..... all of the modeling tools i've seen on this site are for windows. :(

Make sure you select the alpha channel first, not just view the alpha channel. Then remove it using eraser tool.
