Chaotic Civil Warfare is the newest installment into my Warriors of Gundra series. It takes place in a Civil War inbetween two rival factions; The Diberian Liberators and the Gundran Corps. Each of the 8 players gets to choose their side, but once you choose you cannot change! The faction-choosing only affect's the units that you may build.

Something to note: this map is heavily, HEAVILY based on balenced gameplay; which is why there is only acouple units.

About Chaotic Civil Warfare Map:

The All Important Gold
-Gold is mined in 3-gold incements
-The only resource is gold; every 10 lumber (aka lumber return) gives you 2 gold.
-Gundra gets 4 gold for every lumber return, but its main building is more costly.
-Diberian units/allied recieve a movement-speed bonus.

Each side's Specialities
-The Gundran Corps uses there all-around effective Droids as meatshields and support, while specialized troops fill in specialized roles.
-The Diberian Liberators uses partially-effective large numbers of units to swarm the enemy, and more powerful units to destroy them.

-Using the Weaponless Rifleman model (below).
-Scout Tank (Gundra APC)

Amount of Gold; Hit Points; Range/Damage per Attack/Reload time/Damage Type/Unit Type
HardShield has 75% damage reduction.
Meatshield has 50% damage reduction.
Support is just support.
Damage Per Second (DPS) is intended to deal high amounts of Damage, while sacrificing other attributes.
Assult: Units specificly designed to destroy buildings & vehicles.
SpellCasting [NEW]: Units that require Micro (and Marco) to be effective.

Warriors of Gundra Background Lore

WoG takes place in the same universe as Azeroth is in. However, this Dwarven planet, Gundra, has only been attacked by the Burning Legion once, which was unsuccessful. This planet originally did not have any humanoid life. In fact, the Dwarves arrived on it it accidently.

A group of Dwarves, calling themselves "Gundran's" (their home mountain is called "Gundra"), they were investigating an old ruin for a Artifact near Dalaran when the undead found their search parties. They themselves searched out the Dwarven Main-camp and launched a full-scale assult. A great battle was fought inbettween the two army's; but the sheer numbers of the Undead turned the tide against these bold dwarves. With many of their kinsmen dead,the grim-faced Dwarves retreated into the Ruins. Within, they found what they were looing for.

It was a book. But, not just any book; a mana-filled, ancient hand-written book! The head Historian quickly decided that the book shold be used to defend themselves; all of his Kinsmen agreed. However, woth the sounds of battle nearby, he too quickly said the words that he thought would make a portal to Khaz Modan; it made a portal, but went somewhere else entirely! They ran through, determined to tell their kinsmen of this sacred place & see their loved ones again.

On the other side, they appeared in a snowy forest; "Home at last!" thought the dwarves. The lead Historian, know by as Vutomo, closed the portal. He check the book; to his suprise, the book's mana reserves and magic were gone. It was a empty husk. And, as the searched and searched for even one mountain, they suddenly knew that they were not in Khaz Modan's mountain range; not even within Azeroth.

How the Ork Marines Got/Will be Involved

During the Dwarves civil war, Orks fighting in an epic space battle several light years away are shot down, and accidently crash on Gundra. Their spacebattles (ship-to-ship, and not much soilder-to-soilder fighting) had made the Ork Marines less ready for fighting the Dwarves. One landing site was right on top of a city being fought inbetween the two dwarf sides; Imediatly the city was flattened by the impact, alienating any chance of an Alliance inbetween the Ork Marines and Dwarves.

I have tested your map, RoughneckLeader. my opinion:

Terrain (7.5/10) - the terrain is pretty good, but definitely needs more work. Add some doodads, more tile variation, etc.

Units (8/10) - nice units, but the you need to change buildings tooltips. Also I didn't liked that you can train Mountain Kings (at least they could have new abilities :p). The tanks deal too big damage. If you send 7-8 tanks into a base they can almost destroy it.

Gameplay (7/10) - is very hard for player 1 to earn gold if he doesn't have a gold mine. The AI isn't working for all players. The gates open just once then you must destroy them to exit from your base.

Overall: 7.5/10

Woa, I didn't expect THAT high of a mark; it is an old map. If you liked this one, then you will like the new one! I've developed a talent for balencing. I've been working on the terrain lately, and making red's base more balenced; Red also has a partner now, too! This map has come a long way from what it was originally. I removed the heros for now, but I will put in heros eventualy.

I have also made it so then anyone whom chooses the Corps, Your pesants attack speed is 2X as fast, but 3/4ths move speed (as with the 10 wood-to-1-gold trigger).

I still express that greedisgood will CRASH WC3 (in WoG:CCW); and even Vista will not detect it crashing (thinks you manually close it).

Short Bug/suggestion Report:

1. In the loading phase you've spelled a word incorrect. Instead of long you've spelled it "ong".
2. You should probably make a trigger which automatically puts same amount of players in each team otherwice it might get a bit unballanced if one team gets more players than the other.
3. The darkred text in the AI Factory makes it a bit hard to read so you should probably make it more visible. Try red.
4. The repair building has the ability to repair towers. Is it a bug?
I've just tested this map in singleplayer and this map seems pretty cool. Though I presume it would be a hell of a map online with millions of units running around and getting slaughtered.

I have also came up with 3 new units! Two will be put in the map [by A.1.7P] unless someone/myself comes up with the next by the next update. Strike-through unit is the 3rd unit that may not be in the next update.

480 Gold; 800Hp/light armor; 700 range/90dmg/2 second/regular[maybe magic]
Abilities: Gyro-speeder & Aura; Heat Explosion; Heal Wave [upgraded ability]; summon ability [unknown what it will summon yet; upgraded ability]

-Gundran Crops: Frosty Bear
1000 Gold; 6000Hp/light armor; Melee/100dmg/1.5 second/regular
Abilities: Frosty Breath [upgraded ability]. Upgrade: 1500HP 2.5X gold to upgrade.


-Diberian Liberators: Explosives Expert
480 Gold; 800Hp/light armor; 700 range/2 second/regular[maybe magic]
Abilities: Gyro-speeder & Aura; Incinerator Grenades [upgraded ability]; Mines [upgraded ability]; Health Explosion

Updates:

-All units values have been multiplied by 5; it is found that late game the units are too cheap. It does not affect gameplay that much, though, because there are still alot of units.

-Re-made the above lsit to be more user-friendly. Will continue to do so; I am still commited to this map, even though updates do not come very often. He, I had enough fun on this map with just one friend that we played for hours... And there still wasn't enough time!
