Plaguebearer

Introduction:
Consuming and destroying all in its path, the corpulent, putrid Plaguebearer exists only to feed. No pain can match the agony of its hunger, and so it shrugs off all attacks, spreading its rot and disease across the battlefield like doom itself. Once a great warrior, now a death servant of flesh and blood the Plaguebearer wanders around looking for flesh to empower his skin. These miserable horrors manipulate the ruinous power of death itself to constantly devour those that have fallen. These dark powers supplement the warrior's awesome survival skills, increasing their durability, strength and even allowing them to heal their selves.

A Plaguebearer is a sight to behold - empowered by the flesh of fallen enemies, these hulking behemoths have the power and size to match even the mightiest of mortal creatures. Their thick flesh armor can ward off the most punishing of blows, while the fell weapons they wield can cleave the heaviest of defenses. However, this power comes at a price - the Plaguebearer must constantly damage himself to use his flesh in an offensive way. For the Plaguebearer this means more than mere slaughter and death. In order to earn the flesh of his enemy, the Plaguebearer must sacrifice his own to kill with his brute force. Only through planning and deliberate carnage a Plaguebearer can truly devour his opponent.

Flesh:
The Plaguebearer is a massive walking horror. Armored by the flesh of his fallen enemies he wanders around looking for more flesh. Because all the flesh hanging under his limbs the Plaguebearer loses some of his flesh while striking enemies with brute force. As a result the Plaguebringer loses some of his health unless he still has stored flesh. This is why a Plaguebearer always devours his opponents to use their flesh as his own. It’s his only way to stay alive.

Playing as a Plaguebearer:
Above all else, as a Plaguebearer, you will seek for blood and flesh. Yours is an arduous path, forever seeking for flesh by playing a crucial role in the terrible schemes and cruel manipulations of the Defiler’s armies. Encased in a blasphemous panoply of heavy armor and rotting cadavers, you will endeavor to place yourself on the front line of every battle, where you will bring to bear the power of your stolen limbs against your foes. You will also often be called upon to protect the insignificant or the weak, not as an act of compassion, but rather in service to the inscrutable machinations of your treacherous leader, Zorba the Cursed.

Playing against a Plaguebearer:
Only death - either yours or theirs - brings any hope of respite from the fear and confusion that the Plaguebearers inspire and the devastation they wreak on the battlefield. The best choice is almost certainly to do anything and everything you can to eliminate the Plaguebearer from the fight as quickly as possible. They are devious and manipulative, and it is unwise to give them any opportunity to use their powers to guide the course of a battle. Since they are most dangerous at close range, wise groups will focus magical and ranged attacks on them early in the fight. Failing that, your only hope is a focused, heavy melee attack – though it will certainly be a race against the dark and creeping terror such close proximity to the monstrous Plaguebearer will instill in you and your allies.

Hehe. I can tell you that this is the most 'horror' themed class of the Defilers.
Most of the others are more like 'shadow' themed. I might update this thread soon with information about the next, till now unrevealed, class Sister of Blood. That's a dark elven assassin that adepts the powers of shadows to be fast and deadly. At night time she's extra strong because there's basically shadow everywere:)

Lol, ok. Well just for kicks, one of the spells I had an idea for was called "Dance of the Seven Shadows".
