This custom models make any terrain perfect, fall in some forest with farmhouse

Some kind of monastery with high walls took me a while to make those, towers especially, i know im missing sky but i coudnt fit it from this angle

Far too plain. You need to use doodads better, you spam too much. Really there's lot you need to learn. Look at other peoples work and keep at it.

Yes, if you know how to use them and make a realistic terrain, and quite frankly, those 2 high res terrains arent realistic.

As for the other no importers: They are far to plain and lacks tile variation and ''life''.
The swamp is grossly over spammed and the water has the same depth everywhere.

also: dont use blizzard cliffs!

My two cents:

1. This one is pretty good, but it does look a tad plain.
2. The rocks look kind of awkward and the trees that are close the the rocks have roots that are going through the rocks which is unrealistic.
3. This one kind of suffers due to doodad spam, which makes it look cluttered and repetitive.
4. The hill in the distance doesn't really create the illusion of distance, and the hills could use a lot more detail.
5. This scene could use more detail and an illusion of water surface, but overall is pretty good.
6. This one looks very plain. Try adding more stuff near the houses, like some grass, rocks, junk, and add more detail to the path and backround.
7. Not bad, but remove those ugly blizzard cliffs.

I'd say that your first 2 were the only ones that held any interest. You kinda made your terrains like best (top) ---> worse (bot).



btw, the second picture. Is that terrain mixed up with rocks? It's a little hard to distinguish.

Updated changed 1,2,3,6,7 i know first 2 are far better then others i didn't want to relay on other models because its easy to make cool terrain with cool models.

Off-Topic: Press V for Game View Settings. The water is an illusion using fog and light.

If you turn on letter-box mode, you can get a better image and crop off the "Game View Settings"
