What about this (http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/tools-560/warcraft-iii-unit-balancer-62995/)? (Never tested it, just recalled it like instantly when I saw you asking)

the problem there is that i have to balance about 100 units with about 80 heroes...means i have to run through this system about 8000!!! times...thats incredible xD

simple tipps or tricks would be nice the system would be much to much work^^

but thanks anyway xD +rep for that^^

Well, just use common sense then. :)

Check the fields that define a unit in combat and change them accordingly. If you want to increase a unit's damage, its life shouldn't be higher than average, because you would already have an imbalance. On the other hand, if you have both damage and life with high values and in order to balance it, you use a ridiculously low value for the unit's movement speed, it also becomes imbalanced.

A unit with high attack speed should not have high movement speed as well. Maybe a skill instead that would increase its sprint rate.
A unit with high damage can't have high attack speed as well, because it would result really high DpS.
A unit with high health points wouldn't require tons of health regeneration points, because it would become impossible to kill.

Etc.

I wonder how blizzard balanced it that when all units are fully upgraded, or 0 upgraded (the attacker and defender) its almost the same. footman vs Mur'gul Reaver for instance, Mur'gul wins with almost the HP if both are not or are fully upgraded

Well in all sense you don't become a game desiner in a few years well I guss you can if you learn but you know what I mean.
