Pending Maps

The amount of pending maps is getting a little hectic...I'm not trying to put blame on anyone or anything don't take me the wrong way, I just think maybe us mappers should slow down with the posts for a week or so until everything is caught up.

Everyone has limited time to contribute to the site: that includes our resource moderators. All the pending maps are available for public download so visitors may download them and members may comment to help improve them.

I wouldn't like to do anything that slows down our resource submitters or imposes any constraints upon our map moderators.

Only solution would be to get more map reviewers but it is hard to find both trustworthy and active reviewers.

Hmm yeah, it takes way more time to judge a map then to judge a model or something, ive put the new ultimate terraining map, it still contains some flaws, but those are gone when i update my new one (probably within a week)

The actual problem is that most of the maps are not particually good and no one listens to our responses well, thoes who do tend to ask us to approve their maps in which case in under an hour it usually is. We know this is a problem and it will be delt with, but all authors who put effort into maps ask for it to be approved eariler. Just remember, it is not a crime to ask to have your recource evaluated.

Perhaps we should create yet another category (Submitted Maps) in order to distinguish them from Pending Maps. Then it would be easier to know which maps the moderators have viewed and advised.

That actually does seem like a good idea
