To make an item ability a hero spell
and actually show up when you learn it?
becuase when i try
it wont show up and work at all alltogether :/

Well, it is not impossible if you use Spellbooks, but that would be very hard.

An alternate option is to use the Tinker's Upgrade ability and make it an item ability. Set the damage/speed bonus fields to 0 (if you want) and then you can replace up to four of the Hero's abilities. If you want to replace less than four, remember to set the other fields to replace any X ability with X ability otherwise it causes problems.

this is ezy : set item ability:false, set hero ability: true , VERY IMPORTANT : add RESEARCH ICON (or it woulnt show up i think) and then just add levels etc etc etc

tried and tested
what are actually the learn strings and what not
i always see them and never see a reason to alter them and what not

The learn, etc. strings are just tooltips that show up when you are initially learning the ability. They have no technical use, though they make the spell much more user-friendly and a lot easier to manage.

EDIT: Oh, and solution to your problem. When learning the abil, it gives the abil, it just can't be seen/accessed. So, for auras and bonuses, just give the unit a dummy passive spell with no effect but with the tooltip, and for target spells, give a dummy spell that activates the desired spell when it is used. Hope this helps...
