@Zeus,
You should add some combo cards.
Like card x would draw one card, and card y is activated when you draw a card.

Also, maybe we can go on skype.

There are some trap cards in Yu Gi Oh like that. However, there are still no trap cards in this map yet, wait for more cards, most conditions are involved with trap cards, ressurecting monsters, drawing cards, setting face up a monster card, using a spell card, activating a spell card, etc.

Trap cards can nullify anything, even what card you got.

There are there normal cards:

Monster cards:
  • can be Normal summoned
  • can be Flip summoned and can have effect on flip summon
    • can be switched to Attack position
    • can be switched to Defense position
  • can have effect which:
    • is always working (doesn't work when it is flip summoned)
    • works on your turn
    • works on enemy turn
    • works once on player desired time (press on ability to use effect)
    • works n times on player desired time (press on ability to use effect)

Spell cards:
  • can be Normal summoned + effect
  • can be Flip summoned

    effect can:
    • always working (doesn't work when it is flip summoned)
    • work on your turn

And there are special cards:

Fusion summon:
  • Tribute cards needed for fusion monster, from field or from hands.
  • Can do everything what normal monster card do. Just fusions used to be strong in some ways.
Tribute summon:
  • Tribute any monster cards from field to summon a stronger monster.
  • It is as normal monster card just stronger in one or another way.



Monsters have stars. Stars shows monster level.
There are monsters 1 - 12 stars.
Stars effect game style. for example, some spell cards district use of some level of cards.
Level 1-4 monsters can be summoned without any tribute summon.
Cards with more than 4 stars require tribute summon. 5-6stars - 1 monster from field; 7-9 stars - 2 monsters from field;
Level 12 cards are super imbah, so lets just don't make any of those yet ^^



PS: I have written everything from my head so there might be few flaws. you can suggest new game play ideas as well.



A common rule is that Level 3 and lower monsters generally have less than 1700 ATK, Level 4 monsters have less than 2000 ATK, Level 5 monsters have less than 2500 ATK, Level 7 and Level 8 monsters have less than 3000 ATK, Level 9, Level 10s have less than 4000 ATK and Level 11 to 12 have less than 5000 ATK. Usually monsters that break this rule have penalties or special conditions, although this trend is broken by a few cards.

Level 7 and 8 monsters are generally considered the most powerful monsters that may be reliably summoned and are usually the trump cards for whatever deck uses them. Anything higher often has extraordinary, overpowering effects or sheer ATK value, but they are also usually restricted in some other way, such as not being able to be re-summoned from the Graveyard, or stringent summoning conditions, like the Sacred Beast. A few even have paralyzing weaknesses to balance out their power, such as the "Earthbound Immortal", who all have a common effect of destroying themselves if there is no Field Spell Card on the field.

by the way,did this map use stars?like in yu-gi-oh?if yes then u will actually like yu-gi-oh.if not,when u tribute monster to summon it it will be very hard.

Making one is really hard, lol. Most especially because of what loading screen you want. Having a render for the loading screen would be better, and editing it out to make it even better. And those are called fsjals. Fsjals are far from making Warcraft loading screens, that's why he said he won't "make" one.

My tweaks for those cards:
Orc Bone-Collector - max allowed 1 card on deck. Just seems too powerful.

Orchish Commander - tribute summon? maybe 1 card tribute.

Dark Axe/armor - need model for card in hands.

Ligaroo, the Skeleton God - riiiiight. Imba attack/defence point + super imbah skill to control enemy skeletons. This should be very rare card or more balanced. Problem is that there is no way to make it actual "rare", load code will sure get hacked.

Anyway, I love those ideas. :ogre_love:

So, this is original Yu-Gi-Oh! rules on monster types:
  • Aqua

So basically every monster have it's attribute and it's type. Type have to fit monster attribute. Monster can have 1 attribute and multiple types.

So, next time to monster type write - <ATTRIBUTE> <TYPES> <SET(if it was made in theme set)>


DARK: Fiend, Machine, Spellcaster, Zombie
DIVINE: Divine-Beast, Creator God
EARTH: Beast, Beast-Warrior, Dinosaur, Insect, Machine, Plant, Psychic, Rock, Warrior
FIRE: Dinosaur, Pyro
LIGHT: Fairy, Spellcaster, Thunder
WATER: Aqua, Fish, Sea Serpent
WIND: Psychic, Winged Beast



So feel free to suggest any attribute/type you want. Or we can stick to original.

I suggest to add 'unknown' as attribute, 'hero' as type, 'risen' as type, 'amphibianoid' as type.


Or we can even add warcraft races.
And it would be like <ATTRIBUTE> <RACE> <TYPES> <SET(if it was made in theme set)>

1st card, not bad.
2nd card, quite good, but the name doesn't sound right.
3rd card, 200 damage? Wtf, you can't kill anything with that unless the monster's def/atk points is 199 below. Maybe you meant "damage" the player's life points, that would be better, damaging the player's life points by 200 - 500 points.
4th card, sounds like Sword of Revealing Light, but won't reveal monster cards, and only one monster card gets hit. I suggest all the enemy's monster cards not be able to attack, all of 'em, not just one guy, since it's a "gong," which could be heard by other guys as well, making them not able to attack.
