Bleach vs Naruto vs One Piece


This is a AoS-map-typed showdown between three different anime fractions: Bleach, Naruto and One Piece. Each player can choose one of the unique heroes of his favorite anime series. Main goal is to defeat the enemies' heroes, their forces and destroying their base by making use of the powerful skills each character has and increasing their fighting repertoure by merging different items to even stronger ones. Each base is guarded by 4 towers around the main building, a tower on the end of each lane another 2 towers per lane. The terrain is mostly based on different regions, spots etc. of all the three anime series to create an authentic atmosphere.



Currently available Modes: -ap: allows to pick heros from both taverns
-ar: everyone gets a random hero
-sm: heroes get faster experience
-usm: heroes get 3x experience than usual
-nf: no fog of war (map is completely visible)
-we on/we off (enabling weather changes, influencing the
war as well)

Further Game Commands: -random: you will get a random hero instead of having to
pick one
-suicide: kills your hero, but you pay 500g for it
(use when you are stucked)
-ms: shows the current movement speed of your hero
-ma: shows which player controls which hero
-cs: displays the number of creeps you have killed
-ch/-cn/-cl: scrolls the camera to high/normal/low
-repick: allows you to once repick your hero
-we on/we off (enabling weather changes, influencing the
war as well)

- Each hero has a total of 6 Custom Skills, exactly looking like how you know them from the Manga/Anime (1 Default Ability, 3 Normal Skills, 1 Initial Ultimate and 1 Final Ultimate)
- Maximum Hero Level is 60
- Currently 21 unique heroes (7 per team fraction)
- A total of 69 powerful items
- Features different terrain spots known from all of the three Anime series for the right feeling
- Creeps spawn every 30 seconds from each side (every 150 seconds special units are sent as well), get stronger after 25 minutes of game time, and get more after another 20 minutes
- Wild Creeps spawn every 60 seconds
- Heroes' revive time is [5 seconds + (Level of the Hero)]
- *New* Weather System inserted to the map, changing the environment from time to time, including a variation of 7 different weather effects, each with its own individual influence on the gameplay

I'm sorry, unfortunately not, since i dont know how to make AI players.

Edit: Updated to 1.2:
More heroes available, some minor fixes/improvement of the spells, more items and creeps will get stronger over time

Edit 2: Updated to 1.3:
Another 3 new heroes added, minor revamping, more items and now also wild creeps will spawn

Edit 3: Updated to 1.4:
More heroes and fixed the annoying bug with the stronger creeps, which didn't move

The game is somehow interesting but not that quite since tower line ups don't have anything special to defend their own bases [ex. tower 1, tower 2, tower 3. towers 2 & 3 would either be invulnerable or armor shield by 9000, each tower destroyed would give way to those towers to get destroyed], creeps are too hard to kill, and hideouts or passageways are a must in aos games.

Terrain is so plain and not so good looking, its in the mixture of 3d and 2d plus those anime versions make it worse to see.

The game would be a blast but somehow this map needs more work in the development forums. the end of the game doesn't do anything, once you destroyed both anime factions, nothing happened, you still continue the game for nothing, creep camps are too hard to hunt if all you would team up and loose extra exp and gold that is.

okay, thanks for your review, although it didn't seem to turn out that good for me =/

i agree with you about adding more towers, i will change this in the next update, also trying to figure out some way to actually end the game when only 1 team is left (somehow it didn't work out the first time i tried)

about passageways and hideouts, there actually are some, you can hide behind the trees, rocks etc . and creeps are easy to kill when using the skills of the heroes

and about terrain, well, i dont think it's plain, i tried to fill out every spot with something and actually try to include some locations of all the three animes, i dont say you aren't right at all or something, but i would like to hear some more precice information what exactly is bothering you or any specific areas that you think are too plain

i really appreciate your feedback and would do so even more if you could point out those things mentioned here a bit more so i can improve/change them properly

what exactly do you mean with ''improving it a bit more'' ? any details would be useful so i could work on them (except for the 'there-is-no-end-after-enemies-are-defeated- problem and the problem with the missing towers between the lane, since they already are fixed in this version 1.5)

Just repeating the same thing again won't do any good, i already mentioned the points I fixed, which were demanded in the review, and just saying something like ''terrain is not so good'' isn't any help at all... I'd rather need a ''terrain is not good enough yet because (here some reasons/spots for changes) if you got any advices, just keep them coming, but just saying ''its bad'' isnt any help. I know that i really have to fix/improve the description, though.

Why, it always has only this 4-5 cartoon story such as bleach, naruto, one piece, dragonball, reborn. Not the other cartoon...

I don't think I will add any Naruto characters for a while since I'm not really interested in Naruto anymore, as for Bleach as the next one, Urahara was planned (or actually is ready and done), for One Piece probably Kuma will be next, after thah, well, let's see, not really sure yet, especially for One Piece side

I really like this map great job although it would be really Awesome if you could insert AI I know you don't know how but can't you please ask someone to help you out with it or something cauuse I'd really like to see AI in it .

I've played yesterday and today is the post day.
1- Heroes need some glow, is difficult to see when in the center is fighting the three factions.
2- Map are to plane, can you change for a better look?
3- Main Bulding for three factions are too bigger and this is no necesary.
4- Don't like the uses of Warcraft3 models in an anime play, look wierd an unreal.

About terraining, lanes are so plane, the're many tutorials how to look better the terrain. Naruto's 2 statues in the waterfall are tooooo biiiiggg, the first time when I look it can't imagine what about this model be, then use many minutes to figure out.
About creeps models you can use the same that run over the lanes, but with differents colors, names and sizes (That helps a lot instead draenei or bloodelves).
A good map AoS like with a very nice terraining is Cataclysm, he don't use cliff tool of the World Editor, use de rise level with some pathing blockers and looks more nice. (World Editor cliff are ugly)

Updated to 1.9:

Added Aizen and Pain as new heroes, balanced/fixed Whitebeard and Enel now, some spells look different now (Getsuga Tenshou and both Ressurrecions), tomes add more stats now, some cooldown/damage changes and each base has now a healing/shopping corner, so the main building doesn't have to heal anymore. Have fun!

Ok my review. First, I'm impressed :) it's nice map and I really enjoy playing it unfortunatly only in singleplayer. Skins are nice and so on, enviroment is good.But.

Terrain could be more complicated, like higher, lower plains and so on. More ways to get make suprise attacks and so.
Maybe little few doddans can't make it worse.
Second. I played Itachi and Level skip of abilities are to high. Its annoying watching 2-7 points without use and wait for bigger level. It's problem in later game because I get my 10lvl spell Fireball(Katon...you know what I mean :D ) and fell like: Yeah now I will crush my enemy. Run to some adds comming and use it....only half life down. That's next problem, leveling of your adds are to fast. On start it's impossible to kill two and later meet 1 wave alone is pain in ass. Even with Full gear.
Bases are vulnerable only when all ways are down....you mean that serious? When I crash my way, middle way and wait when last line fall is quite fail. This is problem with later adds too. from start, towers are powerful but later..my Base is guarded with 4 OP towers and 1 wave come and destroy them all. And when one line still up, adds just run away, because they cant attack anything in their way.

well thats my point. Don't take it as criticism, just what could be made other way. I like that events, which affect all units.

Thanks for your detailed review!

I have to admit I couldn't really guess how fast or how much the creeps should level, I actually have to test it ingame for myself (couldn't do so yet since I can't host)

As for the level of the abilities, what skip would you suggest ? I made it that way because I thought having an ability on its maximum level with like lvl 20 or even earlier would make them getting too strong too fast on the one hand, or not even being able to be cast frequently due to its high mana cost with each level as well. That, at least, was my idea how I thought about it.

I tried to create some higher/lower plains in my map and sideways and so on, however, I will see if I can do some more changes, do you have any specific locations in mind which made you think so ?

I'm glad you enjoy the map and am thankful for your thoughts and ideas in order to improve the map even more!

EDIT: Small Update on the map to 1.95:

Shinra Tensei is now learned at lvl 25 as each ulti as well, Whitebeard's Tremor Crusher's effect comes now with every 6th attack instead of the 20% Chance.
The creep's power boost decreased (less Damage and Hp boost), the intervall in which they get stronger increased (5min now)

I love the map and all and I believe I have said so earlier but you need to add AI for singelplayer, it would make it a lot more interesting. I know you don't know how to add AI and ai triggers and all but I'm certain someone on the Hive could help

Btw I did mention I like the map right?
